GPS Rescue Box

At the heart of Global Intervention Group’s mission is the commitment to develop real, scalable solutions to rescue victims of human trafficking, domestic violence, and abduction. One of our most impactful programs is the GPS Rescue Box—a discreet, life-saving device designed to provide an immediate escape tool for those in danger. Installed in the stalls of women’s restrooms at truck stops, airports (large and small), bus stations, train terminals, and rest areas, the Rescue Box contains GPS trackers that a victim can quietly take and place in their pocket. Once movement is detected, the tracker sends a signal to GIG’s 24/7 monitoring center, which then relays the live location to law enforcement for rapid intervention. This tool is designed to benefit vulnerable women and children who may otherwise have no voice or way to call for help.

Each GPS Rescue Box is proudly designed and built in the United States and costs just $193.33 per unit, including the GPS trackers. We work closely with business owners to fund the initial purchase and placement of these devices in their locations. From there, our nonprofit covers the remaining infrastructure: installing the boxes, staffing and maintaining our alert monitoring system, training 911 dispatchers and law enforcement, and compiling data for analysis and reporting. Through this model, we ensure long-term sustainability while empowering local businesses to be part of the solution in ending human trafficking and abuse.

Key Features of the GPS Rescue Box:

  • ⏳ 10-Minute Cooldown: Once a tracker is taken, another cannot be accessed for 10 minutes to prevent misuse or mass removal.

  • 🖐️ Fingerprint Scanner: Tracks the identity of the person taking the tracker to reduce false alarms or pranks.

  • 👮‍♂️ Law Enforcement Link: The fingerprint and live GPS location are sent directly to the responding officer for rapid verification and response.

  • 🔁 Return Slot: Trackers taken by mistake can be discreetly returned without triggering an alert.

  • 🔋 Smart Monitoring: Our system notifies the monitoring station when the battery is low or when tracker inventory is running low in the box.

The GPS Rescue Box is a simple yet powerful tool that empowers victims to act and ensures law enforcement has the data they need to respond immediately. It represents our belief that small tools can create life-saving moments—and that rescue can start with just one step.

GIG Rehabilitation Program

Rescue is only the first step—true recovery begins with healing. Through the GIG Rehabilitation Program, we ensure that every individual rescued through our GPS Rescue Box or other initiatives is connected to the long-term support they need. Our team works directly with law enforcement agencies to provide training on how to properly refer victims to trusted nonprofit partners that specialize in trauma recovery, safe housing, mental health care, legal advocacy, and life rebuilding. By equipping officers with clear referral protocols and a vetted network of resources, we create a seamless transition from rescue to restoration—ensuring that no victim is left to navigate recovery alone.

GIG Rescue Box – International

The GIG Rescue Box – International program expands our life-saving technology beyond U.S. borders into countries that are known hotspots for human trafficking. This initiative will bring the Rescue Box to high-risk regions one-by-one, starting with areas where trafficking is most prevalent and urgent. We will work collaboratively with local governments, the United Nations, the U.S. State Department, and trusted international child protection and rescue organizationsto implement culturally appropriate, secure, and effective deployment of the Rescue Boxes. Our goal is to provide victims around the world the same lifeline to freedom, while gathering critical data to drive global awareness, advocacy, and systemic change. Through international partnerships, GIG aims to make the Rescue Box a globally recognized tool in the fight against human trafficking.
